Family Day is bringing in a chilly adventure for visitors to the National Air Force Museum.
Visitors to the museum will get to take part in Expedition: ARCTIC, a discovery program showcasing the Canadian Arctic and the role of the military in protecting arctic sovereignty.
Participants will face a series of challenges, including navigating an all-terrain vehicle over challenging arctic terrain and identifying key resources in a polar lab setup.
Once participants have explored all corners of Canada’s Arctic, and successfully completed the Great Mitten Challenge, they will be awarded their expedition patch.
Expedition: ARCTIC is available for all ages, and will be held for one day only during Family Day, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
