The City of Belleville invites residents to a Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Former Queen Mary Affordable Housing Project on Tuesday, February 4.
The city is seeking community input on the affordable housing project and parkland preferences at the former elementary school on Octavia Street, also known as the West Hill Green Space.
The envisioned development would include affordable housing units while maximizing the amount of useable parkland.
The project aims to increase the supply of affordable housing units within the City of Belleville to meet the housing needs of current and future residents.
Feedback will be presented to council with recommendations on next steps.
The PIC runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Prince Charles Public School (75 Ritchie Ave.).
