Belleville native Trevor Hoskin has been named the NCAA’s Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Week.
Hoskin had six points including a goal and five assists leading the Niagara Purple Eagles to a two-game sweep of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Hoskin was named the Rookie of the Month in November.
Hoskin is currently on a seven-game point streak and has nine goals and 20 assists in 26 games on the season which ties him for Niagara’s scoring lead.
Hoskin was a fourth round pick of the Calgary Flames last June.
