The Quinte Judo Club has awarded its Judoka of the Year honour to 11-year-old Woody Nelson.
Nelson is in his second year with the Quinte Judo Club.
The Judoka of the Year is awarded annually to the student who best exemplifies enthusiasm, dedication and persistence. It is voted on by club members.
The Quinte Judo Club operates two nights a week at the Quinte Masonic Centre in Frankford.
