The 14th Annual DocFest will be held February 21 to 23 in Belleville and this year’s gala will feature a special guest.
Multi-platinum selling recording artist Ryan Malcolm will be performing at DocFest’s Annual Gala Film and Concert on Friday, February 21 at the Empire Theatre.
Best known for winning the inaugural season of CanadianIdol, Malcolm’s debut album “Home” achieved platinum certification and featured the hit single “Something More.” It topped the charts for 15 consecutive weeks.
He has also performed alongside music legends such as Elton John, Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson, Annie Lennox, and the Spice Girls.
In addition to a solo career, Ryan is the lead singer of the alternative rock band Low Level Flight.
The gala begins with the music documentary Paul Anka: His Way followed by an live concert by Malcolm.
