Northumberland OPP have arrested and charged an impaired driver who was also prohibited.
On December 5, 2024 at around 12:30 a.m., police responded to a complaint regarding a suspected impaired driver in the area of Front Street North in Campbellford.
Officers arrived at the location and spoke with the driver of a pickup truck matching the description provided in the report. Officers entered into an impaired operation investigation which resulted in the accused being arrested and transported to a local detachment for further tests.
As a result, Tyler Runciman (age 29) from the Municipality of Trent Hills, has been charged with:
– Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
– Operation while prohibited.
In addition to a future court date, a further three-day licence suspension and a 45-day vehicle impound was initiated.
