Belleville City Council approved the consolidated fees and charges by-law at its meeting on Monday, outlining an increase in transit fares starting January 1, 2025.
An adult ticket paid for by cash or bought on mobile, will increase from $3 to $3.25, while an adult monthly pass will go from $70 to $75.
A concession fare, eligible for seniors, children under 12, and those with a disability will see similar prices for a ticket or mobile ticket, with the monthly pass increasing from $65 to $70.
