The YMCA of Central East Ontario has announced it is hosting a Peace Medal ceremony on December 9 to celebrate its co-chair of the Centre for Life Capital Campaign, Kristin Crowe.
The awards ceremony will take place at Dinkel’s Restaurant.

Belleville, ON – The YMCA of Central East Ontario is hosting a Peace Medal Ceremony on Monday, December 9th to celebrate an individual in our community who has made significant contributions toward peace-building. This year we are thrilled to present the award to Kristin Crowe, Co-Chair of the Centre for Life Capital Campaign.
Kristin Crowe is a dedicated community leader and philanthropist with a deep commitment to service and volunteerism. She has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Belleville for 22 years serving in various leadership roles including President of the Club, Co-Chair of the Easter Seals Camp Merrywood annual sweat equity project for 10 years, Membership Chair and Public Relations Chair. She is a two-time Paul Harris Fellow recipient, a prestigious recognition for her contributions to the Rotary’s mission.
In addition to her work with Rotary, Kristin has been deeply involved in local charitable initiatives. She advocates for the Belleville General Hospital Foundation and Quinte Health. She was actively involved in the $10 million ‘Imagine Campaign’ for the Belleville General Hospital Foundation, which
funded the purchase of a new MRI machine and diagnostic equipment for hospitals in the region. She has also contributed her time and resources to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, both locally and nationally, helping to raise awareness and funds for vital research and support programs.Kristin’s contributions to her community and her professional success reflect her passion for making a difference, her commitment to service, and her leadership in both business and philanthropy.
