It is Remembrance Day Monday and while it’s not a statutory holiday in Ontario some businesses and government organizations will change their hours.
All federal government offices including the post office will be closed today but provincial government offices and schools will be open.
Belleville City Hall will be closed, however, Belleville Transit buses will be running as usual.
Liquor and beer stores will be open today but won’t open until noon and most malls and stores, including grocery stores, will be open as usual.
Banks will be closed.
Meanwhile, CJBQ radio 800 AM will carry the Remembrance Day ceremony live from the cenotaph in downtown Trenton starting at a few minutes before 11 o’clock this morning.
