The 2024 Belleville Poppy Campaign is now underway.
At Monday’s council meeting, Scott Wannamaker, chair of the Belleville Poppy Campaign, pinned a poppy on Mayor Ellis to mark the start of the campaign.
Terry Law, president of the Army, Navy & Airforce Veterans and Mike Benson, president of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 99 were also in attendance.
The campaign runs through Nov. 11 at various locations.
All donations received through the Poppy Campaigh will help support local Veterans and their families.
