Northumberland OPP have charged a teenager following an assault.
On October 8, police received a complaint of an assault that took place the day before at an area off Elizabeth Street in Brighton.
No injuries were reported.
After an investigation, a 15-year-old was charged and arrested on Saturday.
A 15-year-old male from Brighton was charged with the following:
- Assault
- Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
- Intimidation – follow from place to place
The accused is not being named under provisions from the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
