The Trenton Golden Hawks played to a 4-4 draw against the Pickering Panthers.
Dalton Kane, Cooper Matthews, Taeo Artichuk, and David Fournier all scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks scored first, with a lightning fast goal less than 40 seconds into the first period. The Panthers bounced back to take two goals before the end of the frame.
In the second period, the Golden Hawks grabbed two goals, taking the lead before the Panthers tied things up with a goal of their own, leaving the teams tied 3-3 going into the third.
In the third frame both teams grabbed a final goal, and with the score still tied, went into overtime. With no goals in overtime, they proceeded to double overtime, before the game was finally declared a draw.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Friday, to host the Wellington Dukes.
