Northumberland OPP charged a teenager and a 35-year-old man in separate speeding incidents on Thursday.
An officer conducting speed enforcement on the westbound Highway 401 in Hamilton Township late yesterday morning clocked a vehicle travelling 174 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone.
The vehicle was stopped and the 16-year-old driver from Port Hope was arrested and charged with stunt driving.
Along with a future court date, the individual had their licence suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for 14 days.
Later in the afternoon, police on patrol on County Road 9 in Alnwick-Haldimand observed a vehicle travelling 106 km/hr in a posted 80 km/h limit.
The motorist was stopped and was also found to be driving while suspended.
A Roseneath man is charged with driving while under suspension and speeding.
