Prince Edward County has offered an update on a watermain break in the Wellington area.
The Water and Wastewater Department is working to re-pressurize the water supply feeding the customers west of Prince Edward Drive in Wellington, including Wellington on the Lake.
Full pressure should be restored by 2:30 pm Tuesday.
These repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however, residents in the area of the repair may experience pressure fluctuations, air or coloured water while pressure is returned. The water remains safe to drink.
If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.
