The Quinte region’s safest Halloween tradition is returning.
Once again, the Children’s Safety Village Belleville is opening its gates for local children to enjoy a fun and safe Halloween.
Halloween at the Village invites children of all ages to trick or treat on the streets of the miniature village without having to worry about traffic or other challenges.
Local police, firefighters, paramedics and other friends of the village will be handing out treats.
Elexicon Energy will offer some special gifts and member of The Children’s Foundation will host Halloween-themed games.
More than 600 people attended last year’s Halloween at the Village.
Thie year’s event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on October 31 with a special hour for those with sensory sensitivities from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Children’s Safety Village is located at 129 South John Street.
Parking is available behind the old police station on Dundas Street (entrance off George Street).
