The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Lindsay Muskies 4-1 on Friday night.
Cooper Matthews, Spencer Hughes, Corbin Roach, and David Fournier scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks got off to a strong start with two unanswered goals in the first period, before the Muskies came back to grab an unanswered goal of their own in the second. In the third frame, the Golden Hawks claimed two more goals to extend their lead and take the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action Saturday afternoon to face the Haliburton Huskies.
