The Belleville Senators got a taste for winning during the 2023-24 season.
The team had their first playoff series victory and they also went toe-to-toe with the Cleveland Monsters, a team that lost in Game 7 of the Calder Cup Semi-Finals.
There is a lot of excitement around the 2024-25 version of the Belleville Senators. It is expected to be a deep team and one that is offensively gifted.
Assistant Captain Zack Ostapchuk says they have a lot of guys that are hungry.

He says it means a lot to be a part of the leadership group.

“It’s an honour and I’m glad that they look at me in that light. I try to lead by example a lot. As a returning guy from last year I think it’s just something that I can help guys out.”
Captain Garrett Pilon says they are ready to open the season in Rochester and Syracuse.
Audio Player“There’s so many little things with details that you need to put to the side and go out there and play your hockey game. If we outwork them I think there’s going to be a good result. Obviously systems kind of come as the year goes on, but for us it’s going out there and playing a hard, physical game right off the get go and see what happens.”
Belleville’s home opener is Saturday October 19.
