One driver has died, and one driver was transported to hospital, following a serious collision in Quinte West on Wednesday night
On October 9, 2024, officers with the Quinte West OPP responded to a serious collision at 8:35 p.m. on County Road 40. Both involved drivers were transported to hospital by ambulance. One driver has been confirmed deceased.
County Road 40, commonly known as Wooler Road, was closed between Old Highway 2 and Telephone Road for a few hours for an investigation.
It was reopened to traffic early Thursday morning.
