GPS helped Northumberland OPP track down a stolen vehicle and the alleged thief in Brighton.
The pickup truck with a built-in GPS had been stolen from a location on Sharp Road.
A complainant called police late Sunday night to report the theft and that the registered owner was tracking it.
OPP located the vehicle in the area of County Road 26 and Telephone Road where the driver was taken into custody.
Forty-two-year-old Leigh Smith is charged with theft of motor vehicle and has a future court date.
