The City of Belleville’s Glanmore National Historic Site is getting ready for ‘spooky season’ with a special exhibit and family-friendly Halloween event.
Glanmore’s Creepy Curiosities exhibit features unusual artifacts throughout the restored rooms of Glanmore National Historic Site. As you explore the historic house you will be intrigued by strange and curious artifacts including a wicker body basket, whimsical woodcarvings, a mythical mermaid, and other odd and downright creepy artifacts from Glanmore’s artifact collections.
The Creepy Curiosities exhibit is included with regular museum admission. The exhibit is on display at Glanmore National Historic Site, 257 Bridge St. East from Tuesday, Oct. 8 until Sunday, Nov. 3.
On Friday, October 25 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., don your Halloween costumes for Glanmore’s Family night at the B00-seum.
Families can watch spooky silent films, make creepy Halloween crafts and enjoy some indoor trick or treating. Take in the Creepy Curiosities exhibit as you explore the historic house and be sure to keep a look out for a few other surprises along the way.
Family Night at the B00-seum is an all-ages event. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8.50 for students and seniors, $6.50 for children aged 5 to 12, and children under five are free. Advance tickets are required.
