The City of Quinte West is set to host the Canada Soccer U-15 Cup at Centennial Park beginning on Wednesday.
Youth soccer teams from Canada’s provincial and territorial soccer associations will compete for the Boys U-15 Cup and Girls U-15 Cup over the span of six days.
The city provided the following schedule of events:
Opening ceremonies (Oct. 9): On Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m., a ceremonial ball drop will
kick off the opening ceremonies on the first day of the competition.
Soccer Central (Oct. 11-13): Soccer Central, located at the Quinte West Pop-ups in Centennial Park, will host vendors, food trucks and soccer-themed activities from Friday, Oct. 11, until Sunday, Oct. 13. For a full list of vendors, visit quintewest.ca/2024soccer.
Skills and drills youth program (Oct. 12): On Saturday, Oct. 12, the Quinte West Soccer Club will host two free, drop-in skills and drills sessions at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on field 3. These sessions will feature fun and engaging drills and activities focused on youth player development for any skill level. There is no cost to participate and registration is not required.
