The City of Belleville’s Planning Committee will receive a Notice of Complete Application regarding a proposed 93-unit residential subdivision and mixed-use development called Towncentre Place on Monday.
The land is located east of Raycroft Drive and west of Towncentre Drive and covers about 2.63 hectares.
In the application, the proposed use is described as 93 dwelling units, including 21 townhouse dwellings, 24 back-to-back townhouse dwellings, five two-unit semi-detached dwellings each containing two accessory dwelling units, and a 12-unit low-rise multi-unit building
It also calls for a a mixed-use building containing four commercial units and 16 residential units.
The applications calls for the property to be rezoned as Residential Type 2 (R2) Zone, Residential Type 2 (R2-20) Zone, a new Residential Type 2 (R2-X) Zone with special provisions, Open Space (OS) Zone, and Neighbourhood Commercial (C1) Zone.
A public meeting will be held with committee members making a decision on receiving the report and bringing it to city staff for public feedback.
That feedback would then be used for a recommendation report to the committee where a decision on the application would be made at a future meeting, if the committee approves receiving the application on Monday.
