The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Leamington Flyers 5-2 on Friday night.
Taeo Artichuk, Matthew Souliere, Corbin Roach, and Spencer Hughes scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Flyers opened scoring early in the first period, but the Golden Hawks came back to tie the score 1-1 just before the end of the period. During the second, the Flyers grabbed their second and final goal early on, before the Golden Hawks took two of their own, and carried their lead into the third frame where they added two unanswered goals to take the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday, on the road to face the St. Michaels Buzzers.
