Traffic is moving once again on the westbound 401, following a tractor trailer fire late Thursday night.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the the border between Brighton and Cramahe townships, where the trailer was fully engulfed.
The vehicle was carrying plastic and magic sand.
Flames spread into the adjacent wooded area, forcing emergency responders to close the highway.
Around 2:00 a.m. Friday morning, fire crews had the blaze down to just hot spots.
No injuries have been reported.
