Prince Edward County OPP have arrested a man on several charges following a traffic stop in Picton.
On Wednesday, at close to 11 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Hill Street. After an investigation, it was found the driver was suspended from driving, leading to a further investigation and search of the vehicle.
Robert Pakul, age 52, from Odessa was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a schedule one substance – methamphetamine
- Possession of a schedule one substance for the purposes of trafficking
- Driving while under suspension
- Using a plate not authorized for the vehicle
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on October 30.
