A woman from Brighton faces an impaired driving charge after an incident in Cobourg Wednesday.
Cobourg police report that shortly before noon a vehicle hit a fence after narrowly missing a pedestrian in the area of Elgin and Williams streets.
An unidentified 44-year-old woman was arrested while showing signs of impairment, and faces drug-related charges.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Cobourg on October 16.
