If you’re thinking about buying a house this could be a good time to jump into the market.
According to the Central Lakes Association of Realtors average sale prices for a single family dwelling in much of the Quinte region dropped in September compared to August.
In Belleville 55 houses were sold last month at an average price of $547,000, down from $602,000 in August.
Forty three homes in Quinte West were sold in September at an average price of $588,000, down from $600,000 the month before.
In Brighton, 16 houses changed hands at an average price of $651,000 last month, down from $736,000 in August.
However, the average price was higher in Prince Edward County in September at $839,000.
In August that price was $808,000. There were 23 homes sold in The County last month.
