A driver is facing further charges after being caught speeding a week after losing their licence for stunt driving.
Northumberland OPP were conducting speed enforcement on Highway 401 west in Cramahe Township around 2 a.m. on Thursday morning when a vehicle was observed travelling 138 km/hr in a 110 km/hr zone.
The vehicle was also without proper headlights.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be suspended as a result of a stunt driving incident on September 27 in Mississauga.
A 20-year-old from North York was charged with driving while under suspension, speeding and drive without proper headlights.
In addition to a future court date, the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Over the past week, OPP have laid 83 speeding-related charges in Northumberland.
