During Wednesday’s council meeting, Quinte West council gave the nod to alcohol sales for special events at Frankford Variety and Laundromat.
Alcohol will be available on holidays including Family Day, Victoria Day, Good Friday, Canada Day, civic holidays, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
In order for the LCBO to issue permissions for alcohol sales on those holidays, the municipality first had to confirm there were no objections.
