The Wellington Dukes defeated the Toronto Patriots 5-2 on Saturday night.
Ben Vreugdenhil, Jared McNeil, Logan Klaiber, Ryan Schaap and Sacha Trudel scored for the Dukes. The Dukes and the Patriots battled over a 1-1 score in the first period, with the Dukes pulling ahead with an unanswered goal in the second. During the third, the Patriots got one more, while the Dukes claimed three more goals and took the win.
The players are back in action on Friday against the Burlington Cougars.
