Hastings County Council will expand its reach when it comes to the recruitment of family doctors to the area.
Thursday, council voted to join the Eastern Ontario Physician Recruitment Alliance.
The Alliance unites municipalities in their efforts to attract more doctors.
It does so by contacting Canadian students who are studying medicine internationally, in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, the U.S., and Australia.
