Ontario will be providing over $14 million in infrastructure funding to municipalities in the Bay of Quinte in 2025.
In a release from MPP Tyler Allsopp’s office, it states that the funding will be used to renew and rehabilitate critical infrastructure in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County, and Hastings County.
Funding will be delivered in 2025 through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
The funding is broken down as follows:
- City of Quinte West – $6,605,018
- City of Belleville – $5,945,693
- Prince Edward County – $1,642,732
- Hastings County – $100,000
