The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation received a $10,000 grant for its Food for Learning program from the Canada Post Community Foundation.
The Learning Foundation is one of 106 organizations across Canada receiving funding from the Canada Post Community Foundation for programs.
Money is raised through customer donations in post offices, employee contributions and the sale of a special annual stamp.
A cheque presentation event took place at the Belleville Canada Post facility on Thursday recognizing The Learning Foundation’s community work.
