In a month’s time it will again be Dress Purple Day.
Executive Director of The Children’s Foundation described the non-profit organization’s many programs
for less well-off children and their families at Hastings County Council’s meeting Thursday.
The programs support children from their infancy until they’re ready for post-secondary education or the workforce.
Executive Director of the Foundation Melanie Cressman describes the meaning of Dress Purple Day.
” … remind young people that they have the right to safety and well-being and it’s also a reminder that we all play an important role in keeping children safe.”
Dress Purple Day is Friday October 25.
Be sure to tune in to CJBQ, MIX97, or ROCK107 this Wednesday October 2 for the annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon.
