Northumberland OPP have charged a second person in relation to an assault at Warkworth Institution in June.
Police responded to a report of an assault at the facility at around 8:30 p.m. on June 10 involving a number of individuals.
ORNGE Air transported one person to a local hospital and the other to a Toronto hospital.
Both of their injuries were described as serious.
A warrant was issued and one of the parties Northumberland OPP says was involved was arrested at the facility on September 12.
A 34-year-old from Loyalist Township was charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and aggravated assault.
Another warrant was issued and on September 24, OPP arrested a person they say was involved in the incident.
A 20-year-old from Agassiz, British Columbia has been charged with aggravated assault.
Both accused were held to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
