The Manufacturing Conference team announces the inclusion of international speaker and
workforce strategist Jeff Butler to this year’s Manufacturing Conference.
The conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, where 250 manufacturing delegates from across Ontario will come together at the Cobourg Community Centre to learn, share best practices, meet suppliers, expand their network and overall together strive for high performance.
Jeff Butler is an author and workplace strategist who explores human behavior within the working world. His
experience spans over 40 industries on four continents on how different cultures and employees interact with
each other. He studies common threads of behavior in industries such as IT professionals, underground utility
workers, police officers to clothing retail chains.
As a researcher and practitioner, he also runs a consulting company and a tech company, TrinityFix where he is able to test his ideas in different workplace environments. Jeff will be sharing his expertise in Cobourg helping guests learn how to build an effective multigenerational workplace.
Another new feature this year is a Workforce Strategies Panel Discussion with leading manufacturing employers and economic development teams from across Ontario. This year’s conference also includes workshops, breakfast and lunch, and supplier trade show.
