Residents and visitors to Brighton will soon be enjoying an antique from the United Kingdom, courtesy of a construction company.
Brighton council has accepted the donation of a red British Telephone Box, or booth, from Mistral Developments.
The company is currently building two apartment/commercial buildings in Brighton.
The telephone box is inscribed with a “Welcome to Brighton” logo.
Mayor Brian Ostrander tells Quinte News it will likely be used as a self-serve tourist information booth.
Possible locations include Memorial Park or King Edward Park.
