Quinte Transit and Loyalist College have partnered to launch the Rides on Demand app across the Quinte Transit network.
The Rides on Demand app allows transit riders to choose their region, self-register, and schedule trips outside regular transit routes and schedules.
In a release, it is noted that while this transit service has been available for several years, the app aims to streamline the booking process making it easier and more accessible for users.
“We are very excited to launch this new app to further enhance the rider experience and open new opportunities for riders in our community. We are so pleased to work with Loyalist on this project, and we look forward to continuing down this road to grow our regional transit service,” Executive Director of Quinte Transit, Shelly Ackers, says in a statement.
The app is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
