OPP say a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a train in Northumberland County early Monday was fatal.
Around 12:50 a.m., CN Police called Northumberland OPP about a collision on Station Road in the Grafton area.
Emergency Medical Services and the Township of Alnwick-Haldimand Fire Department also responded to the incident.
The sole occupant of the passenger vehicle, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The area remained closed until about noon as OPP and CN Police conducted investigations.
The OPP investigation is ongoing and is being assisted by the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit.
