The Family FUNFest returns to West Zwick’s Park on Saturday with city council approving special considerations for the event at its meeting on Monday.
Belleville City Council approved giving the festival a “Civic Celebration” designation that would allow vendors to sell merchandise without specific licensing from the City of Belleville.
The city will pay all municipal building permits, signage and licensing fees for the event as well as provide free shuttle buses.
The event is free and will have attractions like Touch a Truck, fall-themed arts & crafts, giveaways, building kits for kids, face art & balloons.
There will also be food provided by Pop-Ups On The Bay and four visiting food vendors.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m in Saturday, September 14.
