The Trenton Golden Hawks beat the Cobourg Cougars 7-4 at the Dunc on Friday night.
Devin Mauro, Thomas Kuipers, Mathhew Souliere, Taeo Artichuk, Trevor McDowell, and Cooper Matthews scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks got off to an explosive first period, claiming four goals while the Cougars only managed to grab one. Both teams rallied in the second, scoring two goals apiece, with the Golden Hawks keeping their lead intact. During the third, both teams got in a final goal, leaving the Golden Hawks in the lead, and giving them the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday, travelling to face the St. Michael’s Buzzers.
