Three people are facing charges after Lennox and Addington OPP executed a pair of search warrants in Deseronto.
On Thursday, officers searched residences on Mill Street and Brant Street, seizing suspected cocaine and oxycodone, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia, cell phones, a prohibited weapon, and a large amount of cash.
Natinael Tesfagabir, 22 years old, of Toronto and Jennifer Thompson, 32 years old, of Deseronto were arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
Another suspect, 62-year-old Charlene Hannah of Deseronto, was arrested and charged with Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
All three of the accused were held in custody, pending a bail hearing.
