Thurlow Ward councillor Paul Carr sent a letter to Belleville mayor Neil Ellis on Friday requesting several items be considered for the 2025 Capital Budget.
In a two-page letter, Councillor Carr said a special council meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2024 to discuss the 2025 Capital Budget and that five items should be deliberated to determine if they should be added to the budget.
The five items requested are:
- Old Highway 2 – Haig Road to Point Anne Road – Detailed Design Phase for Reconstruction
- Phillipston Road Reconstruction Phase and Additional Funding for Detailed Design Completion – Mudcat to Bethel
- Farnham Road Phase 2 Design (Additional funding) – Kipling to Scott
- Ashley Street Sidewalk – Design (Additional Funds) and Construction – Ducette Road to Foxboro Public School
- Clarence Bird Park – Phase 2 (Lighting and Multi-Use Court)
