The latest technology helped Belleville police officers arrest a man on a long list of Highway Traffic Act charges Tuesday.
Police were in the area of Bell Boulevard when a BMW vehicle passed by, triggering an alarm from the cruiser’s Automated Licence Plate Recognition Camera.
The licence plates were listed as being from a vehicle stolen somewhere in Northumberland OPP’s region last month.
The BMW was stopped and a 20-year-old man from Frankford was arrested and charged.
