When it comes to planned construction activity in Prince Edward County, last month was a little quieter than the month of August last year.
County officials say 59 building permits were issued last month with a total construction value of almost $17.8 million.
In August of 2023 there were 65 permits with a total value of $20.4 million.
Included in last month’s building plans were five new homes including secondary suites.
