It will become official Tuesday September 3.
For the first time ever a fully-staffed ambulance will work out of a base on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
An official ribbon-cutting will be held at 1:30 this afternoon. The ambulance and paramedics will work out of the Mohawk Fire Hall on Meadow Drive.
The ambulance will be in service 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will respond to calls outside of the Territory improving response times by Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services.
