Hwy 401 was a nightmare for westbound traffic west of Brighton on Monday afternoon.
There was a crash between Brighton and Colborne around 12 p.m.
The already heavy Labour Day weekend traffic was stalled due to the collision.
Around 5 p.m., the highway was reopened, however, it was slow going due to heavy traffic.
No other details are known at this time.
Early Saturday morning, there was a tractor trailer rollover near Salmon River, between the Shannonville and Marysville exits of Hwy 401, in the eastbound lanes.
Traffic was down to one lane, with the slowdown backing up past the Mitchell Road overpass.
