Drug charges have been laid against three Quinte West residents.
The OPP East Community Street Crime Unit and the Quinte West detachment began an investigation early this month regarding illegal drug sales in the area, specifically cocaine.
On Thursday, police raided a McGill Street home on Trenton’s west side and arrested two men, with a third arrested Friday.
A large amount of suspected cocaine, along with fentanyl, hydromorphone, morphine, clonazepam , and thousands in cash were seized.
Fred Parker, age 54, Roger Parker, age 80, and Felkin Parker, age 21, have each been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Criminal Code with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – four counts
- Possession of a Schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime
Fred Parker was remanded in custody until another appearance before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville. Roger Parker and Felkin Parker have been released and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
