A section of the Millennium Trail in Wellington will be closed for several weeks starting Tuesday, September 3.
The trail will be closed to all users between Belleville Street and Consecon Street to allow for tree removal and brushing.
The work is related to the Wellington water and sewer trunk construction project.
Trail users will be directed around the closure via Consecon Street, 2nd Avenue, West Street, Niles Street, and Belleville Street.

The trail will reopen to the public once work is complete.
Meanwhile, a lane closure continues to be in place on Prince Edward Drive in relation to the water and sewer trunk construction project.
During the lane closure on Prince Edward Drive, traffic is controlled by signal lights installed on Wellington Main Street and Prince Edward Drive. Click here to view the map
Access to Wellington on the Lake via Prince Edward Drive is being maintained with one lane of traffic during this phase.
