The Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward has hired a new executive director to replace Marilyn Lawrie, who is set to retire at the end of September.
Kareen McKinnon will join the Humane Society on September 3.
The Belleville resident has previously worked as general manager for Sienna Senior Living’s Island Park Residence in Campbellford and chief operating officer at Pioneer Health Care in Belleville.
